A class win in the 2008 for the fifth year in a row was a satisfying result for Hunter Racing and is the result of commitment and dedication from the whole team.
Now competing in the Modified Four Wheel Drive class (Class 8) the team started out in the Production Four Wheel Drive class (Class 7) in 1998, moving up to the more exciting and competitive modified class in 2003.

Shock Absorber Service:
Shock absorbers are the same as every other moving part on your car, they need to be serviced regularly to keep them performing at the optimum.
There are many moving parts in a damper that wear out such as O'rings, oil seals, oil loses it's resistance, valving shims lose their resistance and gas pressure is lost. Without regular servicing these problems will cause your suspension to under-perform and cost you money in the long run. Extreme Race Suspension using our Roehrig 4K Shock Dyno can service and find damper performance problems quickly and efficiently and fix them with minimum down time. Extreme Race Suspension prides itself on a very fast turn around time as we know how inconvenient it is not to have your suspension in your car.
Extreme Race Suspension are able to Service, Revalve, Rebuild, Repair and Test all leading brands of shock absorbers and McPherson Struts including:

Our service on your Shock Absorbers include:
- Dyno Tested before any work is started to find problems and get an opinion on valving (If an update is needed)
- Damper fully stripped, cleaned and inspected for damage
- Replacement of all O'rings, Seals and worn DU bushes
- Complete change of oil
- Re-charged with Nitrogen
The Damper is then Dyno Tested to check the valving is correct and matched with the set and all adjustments are working correctly.
Shock Absorber Re-valve:
Sometimes a Damper re-valve is required due to new technology, your unique driving style or a different car setup is required. Extreme Race Suspension with their years of experience can recommend valving set ups for certain race tracks, cars, racing catagories or handling characteristics. Revalving of a Shock Absorber includes a Full replacement of existing shims with new shims of high quality and repalcement of piston if required.
Shock Absorber Repairs:
Extreme Race Suspensiom is able to repair any crash damaged or old worn dampers with their fully operational workshop. We are able to make spindles, Strut cases, Shock bodies and also have a huge range of parts in stock to suit most brands of dampers. We are able to give a quote on price and time before any work is started. The Shock Absorbers are then stripped, inspection for any damage, customers are then kept up to date with any additional damage any costs, Repaired, Serviced and Dyno Tested to check for any leaks, valving is correct and all adjusters are working correctly.
